Being Grateful This Thanksgiving

—— WE’VE MOVED: Check out this post on my new site! ——

I’m a bit overwhelmed with emotions as I write this. These past two weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind. I’ve gotten such a warm response on my blog, was able to go home early for a week-long break, and then signed the lease on my first apartment! Then, I mourned with my family the loss of a loved one. And now? Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. The day of being grateful, the day of being surrounded by family. I know tomorrow might be hard for some of the members of my family but I’m so thankful, and I know that they are too, that we are all together.

It’s almost Thanksgiving and times are definitely changing. But yet everything is still and everything is peaceful. I have a candle burning, a warm blanket draped around me, a humidifier hums in the background, and rain drizzling just above my head. My heart is bursting with love and everything is alright with the world. And I feel at ease. I feel at peace. Most importantly, I feel whole.

What are you grateful for?

With love,
